With two Gold Logies and five Silver Logies to her name Georgie Parker is one of Australia’s leading and most celebrated actors. Georgie’s portrayal of Terri in the long running television drama "All Saints" won her the hearts of the Australian public, who already knew her well from roles in GP and "A Country Practice".
Since leaving "All Saints" Georgie has starred in 'Scenes from a Separation" with the Sydney Theatre Company, performed to sell-out audiences in "Chapter Two", "They're Playing Our Song" and David Lindsay-Abaire’s "Rabbit Hole", all at the Ensemble Theatre.
She appeared alongside Susan Sarandon in the international feature film "Irresistible", hosted "Fox Classics" on Foxtel and presented "Medical Emergency" on the Seven Network.
She received critical acclaim for her role as Emma in the network TEN tele-movie "The Society Murders", and appeared in "Step Father of the Bride" for the ABC.
In 2008 Georgie starred in the Network Ten Tele-movie "Emerald Falls". She hosted "Animal Emergency" on the Nine Network and starred in the much anticipated tele-movie "Scorched", also on the Nine Network.
Georgie also released her first children’s album, "Here Comes the Sun".
She played Detective Senior Sergeant Susan Blake in "City Homicide" for the Seven Network, was the voice of Mrs Poulmer in the animated feature film, "Santa’s Apprentice" and continues to work as a Regular presenter on "Play School". She was delighted to be nominated at the 2011 ARIA awards for best children’s album.
This year Georgie appeared in the David Williamson play “Let the Sunshine In” and she current stars in “Home & Away” on the Seven Network.
