Dual premiership captain of the Adelaide Crows, Mark Bickley was a mainstay in Adelaide’s line-up from the club’s inception in 1991 and is now the current Assistant Coach of the Crows. Mark is one of Adelaide's most familiar faces as former member of the Channel 9 news team, a presenter on Postcards and a regular on the Sunday Footy Show – which have now given way to his priority as the Assistant Coach of The Crows. Mark is a first class motivational speaker and MC.
Over his 272 games, Bickley was one of the Crows’ most reliable players. His consistently high standard of football was rewarded at the start of 1997 when he was made club captain.
Bickley became Adelaide’s first premiership captain, leading his club to a famous Grand Final victory over St. Kilda in 1997.
He helped Adelaide achieve the back-to-back premierships with a superb victory against red-hot favourite North Melbourne the following year.
Bickley continued to be a mainstay in the Crows’ defence, and was instrumental in guiding them to a preliminary final in 2002. He played every game for Adelaide in his final year in 2003, leading the club to a semi final appearance and ranking as the Crows’ fourth highest possession winner.
Mark’s successful media career sees him as a high profile media personality in South Australia and also nationally via The Footy Show and the Fox Footy Channel. He appears on National Nine News and Postcards for Nine and has extensive radio exposure on 5AA, SEN and the Breakfast Show on SAFM.
"We have worked with Mark Bickley a number of times over the years, and he is always a pleasure to work with. He give a motivational, interesting presentation, and is we always get wonderful feedback from our delegates."

Student - National Young Leaders Day, 2007
"Mark did a great job. He was well prepared and comprehensively addressed our areas of focus. He was able to clearly translate his own experiences into practical advice for the students and he presented himself in a personable, friendly way. It was great that Mark didn't obviously "clock watch" and went well beyond the 45 minutes expected - good value for our situation. I'd have no hesitation recommending Mark to others. Thanks for your role in organising this."
