The 28 years of Emma Race have been fuelled mostly by her obsession with film and TV. Having graduated from Monash University with a major in film studies, her passion for film and desire to work as a broadcaster led her to positions in both radio and TV as a film commentator.
Emma has provided entertainment reports for radio in both Melbourne and Sydney, and prior to that worked for ABC-TV as the co-producer and co-presenter of FLY TV's movie show, Flicktalk. Flicktalk was a half hour program screened each Friday evening. The show included reviews of the latest release films and DVD's, interviews with film makers and actors and also included Flicknews, which was a tongue in cheek news segment. The role required Emma to research , write, interview, present and edit stories and reviews for both the show and it's website.
In addition to FlyTV she has also worked for Showtime Movie News where she interviewed the 3 lead actresses from Charlie's Angels. Her work on Fly-TV was instrumental in Emma landing the key reporting role for Network Ten's ratings blockbuster, Inside Australian Idol.
