Vincent's Chair are a 6 member band who belong to a generation of musicians who eschew stylistic boundaries and have created a highly flexible hybrid which borrows from many and is beholden to none.

Their songs are about the human condition, and the music is a fusion of melodic jazz and laid back rock grooves.

The line-up includes Kathie Renner on vocals, Brett Stafford on guitar, Karen De Nardi on viola, Andrew Leckie on drums, Tom Belcher on keyboards, and Shaun Duncan on bass.

To date the band have performed at the 2000 and 2002 Adelaide Fringe Festivals, the 1999 Victor Harbor Folk Festival, the Governor Hindmarsh, Riffs Music Lounge, and the South Australian Folk Centre, to name a few.

Their recently released CD, "At The First Sign" was launched on August 3rd , 2003, to an enthusiastic and packed house at the Garage Bar in Light Square, and has enjoyed frequent airplay on ABC and local radio stations.

In an age of fierce competition just to be noticed, this is one musical experience not to be missed.
