Glenn Cooper is a South Australian business icon. His position as the Marketing Director and Executive Chairman of Coopers has made him one of the most recognisable business faces in South Australia's proud brewing, entertainment and festival history.


Glenn Cooper attended Prince Alfred College where he completed his education there in 1967. He played intercollegian football and tennis.

He then studied electronic engineering while employed at S.A Brewing. After completing electronic engineering he then studied the Associate Diploma of Business Management. He left S.A Brewing with one year to complete in his study during which time his wife supported him. He then entered the computer field with a company called Anderson Digital Equipment. After two years with the company he moved to Melbourne to take up the position of National Distribution Manager.

In 1983, he returned to South Australia and set up a private business in computer sales and services. That company grew to employ a total of 28 people with a turnover in excess of $3.5M. In July 1990, he was invited to join Coopers Brewery after selling off the engineering side of his business to a large French computer giant. His position at Coopers is Marketing Director.

In 1997 Glenn successfully completed the Stanford National University of Singapore Executive Program at the Graduate School of Business - Stanford University, National University of Singapore. Glenn is married and has two children - Rachel and Andrew.
