Crowded Enz was formed in 2002 by Ian Edwards, the band's drummer, and a group of like-minded musicians. As lovers of the beautiful melodies and lyrics of the brothers Tim and Neil Finn, they decided it would be a thrill to bring back the memories of Split Enz and Crowded House with a new live show, impersonating the look and style of these bands and playing the music as it was originally experienced by the masses in New Zealand, Australia, and eventually in concert tours worldwide - not in a studio, but live!

After intensely studying video clips of these legendary bands in order to faithfully adopt their stage presentations, and after countless hours of practice in order to faithfully reproduce their unique sounds, this new band is ready to take the stage in 2003 and deliver an exciting show with wide appeal: the reincarnation of Split Enz and Crowded House, live, together!
